Dexter - ity

I've begun watchinga TV series called Dexter. It is very strange. A forensic cop is also a serial killer. Interesting justaposition. Probably not so unusual. The difference between a cop and a crim is probably a fine line in many cases. Different patches and colours…

The opening titles (above) are genius. Not only cinematographically but also for their ambiguity. The mundus of preparing oneself for the day could also be interpreted as a catalog of techniques for killing and dismembering.

The opening sequence of Six Feet Under (in which the lead actor Micheal C. Hall in also played the uptight undertaker - type casting?) was a ground-breaking work - and Dexter is in the same league.
